We have brought together skilled advocates with established practices.

Our barristers prosecute and defend in all types of serious crime, including serious fraud and large-scale regulatory conspiracies, historical sex abuse, homicide, and motoring deaths. We place particular importance on consequential applications such as under the Proceeds of Crime Act, Sexual Harm Prevention Orders, Serious Crime Prevention Orders, travel restrictions, etc., and advise our clients on the consequences and nature of these areas of law from an early stage to ensure our clients can deal with their cases equipped with full knowledge from the outset.

We regularly undertake criminal and disciplinary work on behalf of police officers, doctors and nurses, and sportspeople in tribunals.

Our barristers represent and advise local authorities in England and Wales. We provide a comprehensive service including extensive and highly regarded training for officers and lawyers enforcing regulatory law.

Advice has been given on legislation in the National Assembly on behalf of consumer organisations such as Consumer Focus (Wales). Many of our barristers are on the HSE list of approved prosecutors, and some are panel members appointed to provide specialist legal advocacy and advisory work for the Welsh Government.

Members act for the Illegal Money Lending Unit and Natural Resources Wales. Many such cases also involve confiscation proceedings for very significant sums of money. All our barristers are experienced in defending and prosecuting under the Proceeds of Crime Act.
